A Note from Char, ABLEphilly Founder
ABLEphilly is my passion project—a venture born out of a deep personal need for accessible arts, culture, and social activities—not just for me, but also for my disabled friends who had given up on having access to such events. Living with visual impairment and some mobility concerns, I understand the challenges firsthand. My vision for ABLEphilly is to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to experience a full, well-lived life in this beautiful city.
In addition to this work, I am also an accessibility advocate and audio description coach, committed to making cultural experiences inclusive for all. Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find inspiration and connection here in the future.
